I awoke from a dream where an army of men marched to the beat of a tin snare
as I awoke, the sound transformed to raindrops in the air.
the falling of the rain on the skylight glass was the only sound in ear.
a rainy morning in Paris, then left me stranded here.
Well I counted my change for to catch the train
as the rain kept falling down.
and if I had another 20 cents, then I wouldn't be here right now.
It's raining again and I can't stop the rain.
It's gonna fall no matter what so I can't complain.
It's raining again and I can't stop the rain.
I guess today I'm singing in the rain.
I awoke in Catalonia to the same familiar beat.
The only other sounds were the tires making scars across the street.
I grew drear as the time came near to sail across the sea.
The waves they splashed onto my pack and soaked me to my feet.
I sat on a roof in Italy under an overhang.
I watched the water spiraling into the gutter drain.
The vibrations in the puddle from the falling drops made a fractal like design.
And each drop makes its presence known, just like our place in time.
Comme d'habitude, j'ai bien du mal à choisir une "favorite track" avec ce groupe de Trashgrass qui excelle dans son domaine.
Mais là, j'ai réussi à me décider finalement. XD EklektikTrip
An album that originally I didn't take a liking to; until I heard the lyrics. It slowly has grown on me to the point where I have ordered the vinyl. Lovely way to remember those 100 years ago. Martin Flaherty
